Vendor Registration - The Market on Mahlon

Are you aware The Market On Mahlon Street prefer to work with vendors who are consistently present on the average of 2 or 3 Thursday or Saturday Market days each month? Vendors will have the option to choose which vendor day will work for their schedules (Thursdays or Saturdays). Currently our weekly market day is held every Thursday OUTSIDE until our indoor event hall is completed. Priority will be given to those vendors who are signed up as outside vendors on a first come, first serve basis when the operation is shifted inside. Our goal is to add an additional day of Saturday as we add new vendors in the future. Our vendor fees are MONTHLY for all 4 weeks paid at one time when you complete our Vendor Approval form. RATES: Monthly Tent Vendors $50 and Monthly Food Truck Vendors $100. Are you aware of our terms? *

VENDOR RULES, LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Spots are for Pop up tents and Food Truck vendors who meet the requirements and agree to ALL of the following policies and procedures.

RESTRICTIONS ON ITEMS FOR SALE - No alcoholic beverages, animals, firearms or items to be resold *

EVENT DAYS & TIMES (Business can determine their own hours) - Thursday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. (and Saturday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. when we expand days). All vendors must properly clean up and exit the premises within 30 minutes of event closure. *

TENT DECOR: All vendors MUST have a market tent covering and use weights to properly weight down each tent leg post *

TENT DECOR: All Vendors must have a TENT if not within a food truck… NO EXCEPTIONS. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE - NO REFUNDS. All vendor signs must prominently display their business or trade name on a sign or banner within their tent/food truck area. Vendors are responsible for their own tables, racks or shelves and any other display materials or signage. All displays and signage should be designed to fit within the tent/food truck space and will be subject to a review by The Market staff. Booth decorations or merchandise may not extend into the aisle or corridor. *

Hold Harmless Clause - All authorized vendors participating in Remington Lake Housing, LLC DBA “The Market On Mahlon Street” shall be individually and responsible and will remove responsibility from Remington Lake Housing, LLC DBA “The Market On Mahlon Street”, its owners, officers, employees, members and volunteers for any loss, personal injury, deaths, and/or other damage that may occur as a result of the vendors' participation during the events held or sponsored by Remington Lake Housing, LLC DBA “The Market On Mahlon Street”, or that of its representatives, agents, and employees. *

Insurance - No insurance is provided to participants from Remington Lake Housing, LLC DBA “The Market On Mahlon Street.” Each vendor must waive liability and Food truck vendor must carry their own product and general liability insurance policy that contains at least $1,000,000 and Remington Lake Housing, LLC DBA “The Market On Mahlon Street” must be listed as a name insured and appear on the policy as: Remington Lake Housing, LLC DBA “The Market”, 673 Potomac Station Drive, Suite 116, Leesburg, Virginia 20176. All food truck vendors are required to have vehicle liability insurance for any vehicle used for business at Remington Lake Housing, LLC DBA “The Market On Mahlon Street” and must be prepared to present proof of insurance upon request. Remington Lake Housing is not responsible for any personal property of any vendors or their customers. *

Sales Tax - Vendors who are responsible for collecting their own taxes and filing with the appropriate agency, in accordance with the laws of Beauregard Parish and the State of Louisiana. Remington Lake Housing, LLC DBA/THE MARKET ON MAHLON STREET will obtain an occupational license for our events and provide a list of companies attending to the local Beauregard Parish Occupational License office. *

Suggestions, Complaints or Grievances - In the event of conflict between a vendor and a customer or between two or more vendors, Market staff should be notified immediately. It is not the duty of Remington Lake Housing, LLC DBA “The Market On Mahlon Street” staff to resolve any minor conflicts that may arise during Market hours. Should there be a persistent or irresolvable issue, vendors or customers should notify the local police/fire/medical authorities needed. *

Take-Down and Clean-up - All vendors are responsible for removing all their materials tent/food truck area and cleaning the tent/food truck area. Failure to completely remove all materials from the stall at the agreed upon time, or improperly cleaning the area may result in a fine or expulsion. The Market On Mahlon Street does not provide any on-site storage. *

Please contact The Beauregard Sheriff's Office (Occupational License) with the City of DeRidder and Beauregard Parish at 337-462-3451.
